HPT Online #3: Groundhog day?

Congrats to wwonka for 1st (2nd in a row) and Rake Feeder for 2nd (again 2nd in a row) in the third installment of HPT On-Line.  Time for a new winner…nothing personal Billy/Rob  :).  I’d love to give you some good hand recaps/analysis, but I fell asleep on my couch with my laptop during the final 30 minutes of play and only head-bobbed in and out of sleepy-time enough to see Rob up, Jeff crippled, Billy with a middle stack,….zzzzzz…… then I saw Billy up then….zzzzzzzzzz.  I had no idea who won until about an hour ago!  Maybe exhaustion doesn’t help my play after all!     Let me know who collected bounties.

Once again we had a few new players,  a few regulars and few missing. So far we have had 19 different players, but no more that 15 at once.  HPT On-Line is growing slowly but surely…

Jeff  “All-in” W. took third and the best part was he knocked his dear old Dad out collecting his $2 bounty.  I am sure it felt good, but, as you said on the table, probably not worth it come inheritance time; there will be a day of reckoning that your siblings will thank you for!

Jeff’s favorite hand (not sure if it counts if it isn’t shown at the table…did you show it?)

Looks like my split win w/ bdidde  in HPT #1 was a fluke so far….nothing to show since except a few good jabs in chat last night.  After joking that everyone could read me like a book I retorted with the ever-so-witty smart-ass response ”Guess how many fingers I am holding up now” …Byron, being of quick wit, stated: “None, Donkeys don’t have fingers!”

Since the chat jab was my most memorable moment for HPT On-Line #3, you can pretty quickly figure out I don’t have much to say about the weak-tight clinic I put on last night.  It could be that my big donkey hooves are only dexterous enough to hit the fold button?  I’ll try the rear hooves next time we play, maybe they will do better.

Until next time HPT ON-Line faithful….

  1. I VIEWED THE TIGHT TOURNAMENT AS WELL. I DON’T KNOW WHY I DIDN’T FALL ASLEEP. OH I KNOW, I ALMOST HEARD VERBAL CARNAGE AKA(MELTDOWN) DOWN THE STREET FOR THE SECOND TIME WITH-IN A WEEK. I DID HOWEVER WATCH ONE AGGRESSIVE ALMOST OUT A FEW TIMES WWONKA BULLY HIS WAY BACK FROM NOTHING WITH ALL-IN AFTER ALL-IN STEALS VS RAKE FEEDER SEEMING TO LOSE A LITTLE INTEREST AFTER SOME BIG SLICK CALLS. ONE NOTEABLY FLURRY OF HANDS HAD RAKE GOING ALL-IN WITH THE HAMMER, THEN SHOWING IT TWO HANDS IN A ROW. HE DID GET BEAT WITH A WELL PLAYED FULL HOUSE SLOW PLAY BY WWONKA TO HIS PAIR OF JACKS.
ONCE AGAIN THAMKS FOR THE LESSON HPT PLAYERS.
