Second game at the new “discount” buyin. I like to have more players, but unfortunately Full Tilt does not have double stack tourneys for less than $1 rake? Odd given the $3 +0.30 tourneys they have on their site but I digress…
It was fun, quick game and within 20 hands 3 people were out!

Billy and I split first as we were evenly matched with chips, it was getting late, and I was steaming from donking out of the Mookie in the 2nd or 3rd hand… Mark took third (using 4 of his nine lives to survive!) and PokahDave was bubble boy!
I have been slow in updating this site, I’ll do more later…(Yeah, I said that a month ago and have done nothing…so sue me!)

10 Players and 100 minutes later wwonka was the newly crowned HPT on-line champion.
Bdiddie was unable to co-defend his co-championship with me, and I had my aces cracked early by Jeff’s set ‘o 4’s which put me down 2000 early on. I was playing cute with my AA by min raising pre-flop and it cost me. I doubt I’d have shaken him with a 3x raise anyway and the flop sunk me. (more…)

Bdidde and I ended up chopping the 1st and 2nd prizes, yeah, lame I know, but after an hour of head’s up play (it was after midnight) we never seemed to get a true advantage over each other so we said F it and chop. It was well past my bedtime anyway ….
